Five Element Acupuncture

Five Element acupuncture uses strategic points to unblock, build and transfer energy or qi in order to improve physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. The theories of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements are fundamental systems of thought within Chinese medicine; a holistic approach that applies the laws and patterns of nature to the human body. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) looks at functional disharmony within the body and a diagnosis is made by observation of the patient’s tongue and pulse. It is particularly effective in treating physical symptoms and pain relief.

Melanie Leeson sees people with a diverse range of conditions and selects acupuncture treatments accordingly. Treatments include cupping therapy and facial acupuncture.
